Take Care Of Your Mental Health

Hello

Here's who I am & what I do

Who I Am

I am the CEO of Outsource Credentialing and Billing Services LLC. I have been a proud resident of Chesapeake Virginia for over 30 years, and blessed with two beautiful sons.

I place the highest standards on how clients and individuals are treated. I am a detail oriented professional, reliable and trustworthy with a personable demeanor.

I am also a Mental Health Advocate for (SUD) substance use disorder and Mental Illness. I'm particularly passionate about defeating the many stigmas surrounding Mental Illness since the loss of my youngest son in 2015 at the age of ‘21.

I have provided support since that time for others and families living with SUD and Mental Illness by providing life-saving resources through our family nonprofit foundation. I continue today providing support.

Having first-hand experience with my own family struggles of trying to navigate through the mental health system on top of the grueling search to try and locate providers that have immediate availability, it is truly gut-wrenching to go through. No one should have to experience the hardship of locating immediate mental health services.

"The work I'm doing today leaves me feeling very honored and blessed having the opportunity to provide my services to the mental health provider community! The more providers I get credentialed and contracted means more help and support for anyone seeking mental health services. That's why I do what I do.

It means the world to me".

CREDENTIALING PHASE

I will submit a participating request to your chosen health plans using their specified credentialing application process, to include uploading of Licenses, Certificates, Diploma, CV, W-9's, Malpractice, Incorporation docs, EIN IRS Letter, and all other pertinent information. Once the health insurance company receives your credentialing application, they will perform a thorough verification process. Your file will then go to the company's credentialing committee for approval. This process can take upwards of 90 days.

CONTRACTING PHASE

The second phase of the credentialing process is called contracting. This is when your practice or organization’s application has been approved, and you’re extended a contract for participation. Many insurance networks separate the contracting phase from the credentialing step.

I am with you through the entire Credentialing and Contracting phase from start to finish. A thorough review will be done before you (Authorized official) or I (Authorized representative) sign your provider agreement, including:

  • Reviewing the language of your participating provider contract.

  • Reviewing the responsibilities of participation.

  • Reviewing the reimbursement rates.

Once your provider agreement has been signed, it will then go to the payor for countersignature. Payor countersignature could take up to 60 days. When the payor has finalized their process you will receive an effective date and provider identification number (PIN) in your payor "Welcome Letter". Then, you can start billing the plan and receiving your in-network reimbursements.

Take advantage of our credentialing maintenance plan and you won't have to worry about losing money because of recredentialing issues .

Providers who are considering accepting insurance generally have plenty of questions surrounding the issue of whether to bill under the practice name or use a personal social security number. If you’re establishing your practice, you might be tempted to just use your SSN – however, there are advantages to utilizing an Employer Identification Number (EIN) attached to your practice.

Ultimately, the decision to bill under your SSN or EIN should be addressed prior to treating patients, ideally, after consulting with an accountant or attorney as to which makes the best sense for you.

For Providers Starting A New Practice
How you register your practice name will either make you or break you when it comes to enrollment time with insurance panels.
